These Terms of Service govern your use of the Meydança app and website. By using the service you agree to these terms.
1. About the service
Meydança is a platform that connects players with football pitch owners. We are not the owner or operator of the venues; the relevant venue owner is responsible for the condition, safety and service of each pitch.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
- You are responsible for the security of your phone number and account.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Bookings
- A booking is a request sent to the venue owner; it becomes effective once the venue confirms it.
- You must honour confirmed bookings. No-shows and late cancellations may affect your rating and limit future bookings.
- The pitch fee is paid in cash at the venue unless stated otherwise.
4. Payments and fees
Owner payments are processed via Payriff and shown in AZN (₼):
- Commission: a fee charged on bookings taken through the app.
- Premium subscription: a package of extra features billed monthly.
- Promotion: a paid service to feature a venue higher in search.
- Paid fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Players may cancel bookings according to the rules in the app. Restrictions may apply to late cancellations and no-shows. Commission, subscription and promotion fees paid by owners are non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Reviews and content
- Reviews may only be left by players who actually played, and must be genuine.
- Abusive, false or unlawful content is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules.
7. Venue owner responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the venue, prices and opening hours.
- Honour confirmed bookings.
- Operate the venue lawfully and safely.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Using the service for unlawful purposes.
- Deceiving, threatening or harassing other users.
- Attempting to breach or manipulate the security of the system.
9. Intellectual property
The Meydança name, logo and all app content belong to us and are protected by applicable law. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, including the condition of a venue, injuries during play, or disputes between a venue owner and a player.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
13. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
