Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Meydança app and website. By using the service you agree to these terms.
1. About the service
Meydança is a platform that connects players with football pitch owners. We are not the owner or operator of the venues; the relevant venue owner is responsible for the condition, safety and service of each pitch.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 to register as a player, and at least 18 to register as a venue owner.
- You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
- You are responsible for the security of your phone number and account.
- You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Bookings
- A booking is a request sent to the venue owner; it becomes effective once the venue confirms it.
- You must honour confirmed bookings. No-shows and late cancellations may affect your rating and limit future bookings.
- The pitch fee is paid in cash at the venue unless stated otherwise.
4. Payments and fees
Owner payments are processed via Payriff and shown in AZN (₼):
- Commission: per the plan agreed with the venue — by default 1% of the hourly pitch price on every confirmed booking (app or added by the owner); a custom plan may set a different rate, cover app bookings only, or charge a fixed monthly fee. The balance is due on the 1st of each month. Over 100 ₼ you cannot accept new bookings; after 7 days the pitch is hidden from the player list.
- Advertising: a paid service to feature a venue first in the player list (currently on the web).
- Paid fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Players may cancel bookings according to the rules in the app. Restrictions may apply to late cancellations and no-shows. Commission and advertising fees paid by owners are non-refundable unless required by law.
6. Reviews, user content and conduct
You are responsible for what you post in game chats, messages to venues, your profile bio and reviews.
- Reviews may only be left by players who actually played, and must be genuine.
- There is zero tolerance for offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or illegal content, or for harassing or abusing other users.
- You can report any message, profile or player, and block any user.
- We review reports within 24 hours: content that breaks these rules is removed, and the responsible account may be blocked or closed.
7. Venue owner responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the venue, prices and opening hours.
- Honour confirmed bookings.
- Pay accrued commission on time.
- Operate the venue lawfully and safely.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Using the service for unlawful purposes.
- Deceiving, threatening or harassing other users.
- Attempting to breach or manipulate the security of the system.
9. Intellectual property
The Meydança name, logo and all app content belong to us and are protected by applicable law. Unauthorised use is prohibited.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, including the condition of a venue, injuries during play, or disputes between a venue owner and a player.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
13. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of significant changes; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
